Funds dedicated to student and community initiatives include:

  • MoveU! Adaptive Fund: Provides adaptive activities for children and adults with movement impairments within SU and the Winchester community.
  • Melissa Wolff-Burke PT Clinical Education Fund: Supports the Clinical Education Activities of the SU Division of Physical Therapy.
  • Physical Therapy Student Professional Development Fund: Assists third-year students with registration and/or travel costs for conference attendance or presentations.
  • School of Health Professions (SHP) Scholarship for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) Endowment Fund: Supports exceptional graduate health professions students from diverse backgrounds at Shenandoah University.
  • Global Missions Fund: Facilitates service learning activities for PT students in low-resource environments.
  • Excellence in Physical Therapy Research Fund: Recognizes a student, alumni, or faculty member for outstanding physical therapy research.
  • Kelly McGaughey Roseberry Physical Therapy Service Award: Recognizes PT students who are passionate about supporting adaptive sports or serving the needs of active-duty military service members and verterans. 
  • Physical Therapy Scholarship For Excellence: Awarded to graduate PT students who have demonstrated excellence in their undergraduate education.
