Thank you for supporting the Lewis Endowed Fund for Visiting Dance Artists!

The Lewis Endowed Fund for Visiting Dance Artists was established in honor of Majorie Lewis, ’81, to celebrate her enduring passion for excellence in dance. This fund is dedicated to enhancing the quality of dance education at Shenandoah Conservatory by ensuring that students benefit from the expertise of outstanding industry professionals. Each academic year, the fund supports the Dance division chair in engaging master choreographers, enriching students' pre-professional training, and fostering meaningful connections with diverse dance professionals. Additionally, this endowment seeks to elevate the conservatory’s reputation within the dance industry while providing opportunities for a broad spectrum of students to engage with visiting artists.
